Choice of TPI
Correct toothing = optimal performance
Right tooth pitch for cutted diameter is esential for reaching optimal performance of bimetal band saw blades. The choice can be made between standard toothing with constant tooth pitch or teeth with unequal toothing. Variable tooth pitch is used for reduction of vibration when cutting problematic pieces.

Recommended toothpitch for tube and profiles
When cutting tube and profiles, the choice of correct toothing has critical influenco on the cutting result. Variable tooth pitch turned out to be the most favorable option. The choice of tooth pitch happens according to outside diameters and wall thickness of the workpieces.
Stated recommendation are valid for cutting of single pieces. When cutting in bundels, wall thickness shall be doubled to get the right tooth pitch.
